         Pengertian Congratulations :

Congratulation atau ucapan selamat adalah ucapan atau ungkapan yang diberikan kepada orang yang sedang mendapatkan atau mengalami sesuatu (mendapat kebahagiaan). Dalan hal ini tidak terbatas pada mendapatkan jabatan, barang baru saja, tetapi juga termasuk saat seseorang sedang merayakan sesuatu. Ex: sedang merayakan hari besar.

Contoh Dialog Ucapan Selamat (Congratulation)

Rere dan Rani telah berteman sejak

Inggris se-Indonesia. Mendengar itu, Rani langsung memberikan ucapan selamat
kepada Rere.

          Pengertian Hope and Wish :

     Hope dan Wish memiliki arti yang sama yaitu harapan/do'a.

Hope digunakan ketika kita mengindikasikan sesuatu yang mungkin terjadi atau mungkin akan terjadi.

Hope juga digunakan untuk menunjukkan keinginan di masa depan, kamu ingin dan akan melakukannya.

      Contoh :

• We hope that they will come.(kita tidak tahu apakah mereka akan datang)

• I hope to be a millionaire by the time i am thirty.(saya berharap menjadi jutawan pada saat saya berusia 30)

• I hope that she will like these flowers.(saya berharap dia akan menyukai bunga-bunga ini)

     •Wish digunakan untuk mengindikasikan sesuatu yang tidak terjadi atau tidak akan terjadi.

Contoh: We wish that they could come.(mereka tidak datang)

     •Wish tidak boleh diikuti oleh baik present tense verb maupun present tense vocabulary.

Contoh: We wish that they had come yesterday

   

     •  Future Wish

 Subject+wish+(that)+Subject+[could verb]/[would verb]/[were Ving].

     •Contoh: I wish that you could come to the party tonight.(Saya harap kamu bisa datang ke pesta malam ini.)

     • Present Wish

  Subject+wish+(that)+subject+simple past.

    • Contoh: I wish that i had enought time to finish my article.(Saya berharap, bahwa saya cukup waktu untuk menyelesaikan artikel saya.)

     • Past Wish

  Subject+wish+(that)+subject+[past perfect]/[could have+verb in past participle]).

     • Contoh: I wish that i had washed my clothes yesterday.(Saya berharap bahwa, saya telah mencuci pakaian saya kemarin).
